Please read these Terms of Service (“Terms”, “Terms of Service”) carefully before using the https://www.theparrsbank.co.uk/ website (the “Service”) operated by The Parr’s Bank Hotel (“us”, “we”, or “our”).
Your access to and use of the Service is conditioned on your acceptance of and compliance with these Terms. These Terms apply to all visitors, users and others who access or use the Service.
By accessing or using the Service you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of the terms then you may not access the Service.
1. Introduction
These terms and conditions apply when you reserve a room at The Parrs Bank Hotel, Warrington, UK using one of our digital channels (website, mobile site or app). You will be asked to confirm your acceptance of these terms and conditions when making a reservation. We reserve the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time. The applicable terms are those in effect at the time of booking. Additional terms apply to your use of our digital channels and are published there.
2. Reservations
To reserve a room, follow the instructions on our digital channels. You must be at least 18 years old. Minors under 18 may only stay if accompanied by a parent or guardian.To secure your reservation, you must provide valid credit or debit card details. The Parrs Bank Hotel accepts Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Diners Club. All bookings will be charged the first night’s rate at the time of booking. Non-refundable rate bookings will be charged the full balance immediately. Any remaining balances must be paid prior to check-in.Please ensure your booking details are accurate before confirming. We are not liable for any issues arising from incorrect information. Your booking contract is formed upon our email confirmation.If there is an error or change required after confirmation, please contact us. See Section 10 for cancellation details.
3. Group Reservations
For 5–9 rooms, call Central Reservations at 01925 553424 (Mon–Fri, 9am–5pm).
For 10+ rooms, email reservation@theparrsbank.co.uk.
Group bookings may have different rates. Promotional rates are only available online and not via group booking channels.
4. Room Prices
Room rates fluctuate based on demand and include VAT at the applicable rate. Rates shown are per room, per night. VAT changes will not affect the total price paid.Meals and extras (except where specified, such as the Grab & Go Continental Breakfast when booked direct) are not included unless added to the booking. Extras added during the stay must be paid for separately.
5. Occupancy
Standard maximum occupancy: two adults.
Family rooms (where available): up to three adults and two children (under 16), max four total.
Children aged 16–17 may stay in a separate room under a parent or guardian’s supervision and presence.
Valid photo ID may be requested. Guests without required ID may be denied accommodation. Occupancy limits must not be exceeded.
6. Accessibility
Due to the historic and listed nature of the building, accessible rooms are not available. The structure is protected under local planning laws, and installation of a lift or significant access modifications is not permitted by the council. We apologise for any inconvenience.
7. Special Requests
We will do our best to accommodate special requests, but all rooms are subject to availability.
8. Meals
Meals are not included unless explicitly stated. Cooked breakfasts and meal deals may be added at the time of booking (where available).
9. Payment
If full payment has not been made during booking, it must be completed before check-in. Payment options include cash (with valid ID), Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Diners Club, Maestro, Electron, or Leisure Vouchers (Flex rates only).
Payment of the first night is collected on all bookings as a minimum.
Personal cheques and family discount cards are not accepted.
10. Cancellation
Standard Rate Bookings:
Cancellable until 11:59pm UK time, two days before arrival.
After this period, bookings (including extras) are fully non-refundable.
Non-Refundable Rate Bookings:
Cannot be cancelled or amended.
No refund is given for cancellations or no-shows.
Under Regulation 28(1)(h) of the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, no statutory cancellation right applies to accommodation bookings for specific dates.Our Right to Cancel:We may cancel with immediate effect if:
Payment is not received when required;
You breach our terms;
You previously breached our terms.
Events Beyond Our Control:We may cancel bookings due to events outside our control (e.g. strikes, fire, disease outbreaks, etc.). In such cases, you will be refunded or not charged. We are not otherwise liable for such cancellations.Claims:Claims must be made within 7 days of the stay or as soon as reasonably practicable. Contact the hotel team or email reservations@theparrsbank.co.uk with full details.
11. Arrival & Departure
Check-in: From 3pm
Check-out: By 11am
Guests arriving after 9pm should inform us in advance.Proof of identity and nationality is required at check-in. Non-UK/ROI/Commonwealth guests must complete a registration form.Late check-out may incur a charge up to one night’s rate.
12. Guest Conduct
You must not:
Be abusive or threatening to staff or guests;
Smoke inside (including e-cigarettes). Smoking in prohibited areas incurs a £100 fine;
Engage in illegal activity;
Cause health/safety risks;
Bring pets (except assistance dogs);
Use electricals that may trigger fire alarms;
Tamper with fire or safety systems;
Prevent staff access (housekeeping must access every two days);
Damage or misuse hotel property.
We may cancel your reservation, retain your payments, eject you, and/or deny future bookings for violations.If you or your group cause damage or loss, you are liable for costs to remedy such damage, including collection and legal fees.Reservations may not be resold, transferred, or offered commercially. Such bookings will not be honoured.
13. General Terms
We reserve the right to:
Change your room allocation or location;
Cancel bookings for health/safety or building closure, with refunds where applicable.
14. Your Data
We collect and process personal data per our Privacy Notice. By booking, you confirm you have the consent of all group members for data processing. See our Cookie Notice for information collected via our website.
15. Liability
Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or injury due to negligence or fraud.We are not liable for failures due to events outside our control. Our liability for direct foreseeable losses is capped at the reservation amount unless the Hotel Proprietors’ Act 1956 applies.We are not liable for:
Business interruption or loss;
Indirect or consequential losses;
Loss of data or goodwill.
16. Legal
These terms are governed by English law. If you are a consumer, the courts of England will have non-exclusive jurisdiction. If booking for business, the jurisdiction is exclusively English courts.If any part of these terms is invalid or unenforceable, the rest remain in effect.

Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of United Kingdom, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not be considered a waiver of those rights. If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable by a court, the remaining provisions of these Terms will remain in effect. These Terms constitute the entire agreement between us regarding our Service, and supersede and replace any prior agreements we might have between us regarding the Service.
Changes
We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material we will try to provide at least 30 days notice prior to any new terms taking effect. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion.
By continuing to access or use our Service after those revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms. If you do not agree to the new terms, please stop using the Service.
